Note: These are my thoughts, not a review of criticism —just thoughts. And forgive me if I got any spelling wrong.

Bridgerton is one of those series where you can tell that a lot of time and thought process have been extensively utilized. The cinematography, the storytelling, the music, the culture, the theme! It takes a whole lot of execution and I give them their flowers a 100 times.

This season is the season! I don’t know if it’s because I didn’t like the like season even though I watched it twice. I am a sucker for romance, but not just any romance, a proper one. Not the one you are loving a man your sister wants, I know it’s a story but I can’t forgive!

Back to this season’s story that focuses on Penelope and Colin Bridgerton. The first thing I noticed is how everything sort of improved, they did please and it’s so obvious. I love the characters and their little improvement fit into the story so well.

The Queen has always been my favourite character and I can never stop loving her. I still see the young queen in the older one and what a perfect cast!

On friendship: Eloise and Pen’s —You could tell they really missed each other as friends. Pen did not miss Colin the way she misses Eloise. I wasn’t expecting Cressida and Eloise to be so close and the story really bringing them in, along with the Ton, it’s like everyone was really part of the big picture. It made me feel like I could tell the story of each one of the cast.

Not Cressida and Pen fighting over a man in a competitive way, I never envisioned that.

A lot of unexpected angle came from the characters tbh. I can’t think of so many things that were going on at the same time.

Colin coming back from his trip as a bad boy with tales and having threesomes??

Eloise change in her dress sense that was really eating!

Francesca was the only character I didn’t understand at the earliest, she wanted love in a really weird way. I can’t wait for what her season would be like. “The Silent Love”?

Not Hyacinth wanting to debut too, she is so lively.

I am so so glad that Anthony and Kate had little screen time, I don’t know why people are complaining about that. I could care less.

Part 2 is going to introduce serious chaos to the elderly people’s world. I know something will happen between the Viscountess and Lady Danbury’s brother Anderson. Remember what happened in the earlier days right??

Benedict like older women too much, what is wrong with that boy. He said he doesn’t feel he has a purpose, I think he should look for one, not women, and he’s the most handsome Bridgerton in my opinion.

The featheringtons (I don’t know if I spelt it well) are a whole drama, not them trying to make an heir but don’t know what sex is. Sex education in those days was non-existent and they really portrayed that part. But the ones who knew, knew it wellllll.

Lord Denbly is such a fine man and I honestly wished he ended up with Pen, because the whole lady whistledown’s drama is going to lead to a whole lot.

Will Colin forgive? He has to, not after that mind blowing make out session in the carriage he had with Pen at the ending. Why did he do that to Pen 😭 It was hot though?

Can’t wait for part 2. Because the drama starts there. Rooting for Penelope to survive this love story and have a happy ending.
